Trevor Scott
Trevor Scott
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Scott, who died peacefully at the home of his son in Kansas, America, aged 78 years.
Trevor was the devoted husband of Patricia Ann Scott until her death in 2003. A loving father of Rob and proud grandfather of Robyn, The late Oliver, Grace, Lucy, and Cayde. He is also survived by his two sisters, Mary Hanks and Angela Beard, who mourn his loss alongside the wider family.
Trevor spent much of his working life at the heart of the local community. He owned and ran D & T J Scott, operating three petrol stations in Ancaster, Barkston, and Grantham, working first alongside his father Dennis and later with his son. Before that, he was a skilled motor engineer for his grandfather, continuing a proud family tradition of dedication and craftsmanship.
Beyond his business, Trevor gave many years of service to the community. He was a long-standing Rotarian, a South Kesteven District Councillor following his retirement from the petrol stations, and an active official of the local Conservative Club. His commitment to public service, friendship, and community spirit touched many lives.
Trevor’s ashes will be interred at Ancaster Cemetery on Monday 13th July at 11.30am. All who knew him are welcome to attend.
