In the community

The branch maintains close links with local churches, clergy, celebrants and community organisations throughout Grantham and the surrounding villages.

We are proud to play an active role within the Grantham community and support a number of local organisations and events throughout the year.

• Supporters of the Grantham Choral Society, helping to promote local arts and cultural activities.
• Sponsors and supporters of the Army Benevolent Fund Concert, raising funds for the Army's national charity and supporting veterans, serving personnel and their families.
• Regular participants in St Wulfram's Christmas Tree Festival, supporting one of Grantham's most popular community events.
• We host open days for student nurses from local training providers, offering an insight into the role of the funeral director and the care provided to bereaved families.
• We support school work experience placements, helping young people gain an understanding of the profession and the range of careers available within funeral service.
• We work closely with Grantham College, providing branch visits, presentations and insight tours to give students a greater understanding of the work undertaken by funeral professionals and the importance of compassionate care within the community.

As a team of local people, we believe it is important to contribute to the community we serve. Through educational opportunities, charitable support and involvement in local events, we aim to build meaningful relationships and support the people of Grantham beyond the funeral services we provide.
